Night Profound and Crooked Mouth joined forces under a common banner to synthesize their individual sounds into a singular expression.

The psychedelic, ethereal nature of Crooked Mouth and the bombastic darkness of Night Profound clash head-on in a collection of pastoral ballads, miasmic darkness, and intricate tales of woe and elation. Here is a partnership that would eventual flourish into an upstart (neo)folk collective illuminating an otherwise dormant corner of the globe.

Recorded throughout 2014, this meeting of unique spirits features fresh Crooked Mouth songs and rerecorded demo tracks from Night Profound’s infancy, with all members of both bands singing and playing on each song. This blend of deeply personal material is enriched by the pangs of a grandiose spiritual longing, undeniably at the root of each project. A reflection of a time spent grasping for meaning in the darkness of a dying world.

Printed on heavy 180gr black vinyl, packed in a 350gsm 3mm spined sleeve, 1-color printing with UV spot-varnish finishing. Edition of 200 copies pressed.
